Yew Medical Centre looking after your mental health and wellbeing

COVID-19 is posing many challenges especially to our mental health and well being. It is important that we are all conscious of doing the things that help maintain our well being at this time.

If you are struggling with any aspect of your mental health, please make an appointment to see one of our doctors. We will explore with you the possible reasons for why you might be struggling. Every person is unique, as is everyone's mental health struggle. We will consider with you, what possible lifestyle changes you could make, which might help. We will discuss medication and counseling services.  At Yew Medical Centre, we will support you in getting back to yourself.

The HSE are providing a number of free online counselling services. To read more   https://www2.hse.ie/services/mental-health-supports-and-services-during-coronavirus/mental-health-supports-and-services-during-coronavirus.html

We believe self compasion based mindfulness can be helpful in maintaining well being and helping us to be kinder to ourselves. Often when we feel low, we spend a lot of time time in our minds giving out to oursleves. This drags us lower.
