Dr Kevin Boner joined Yew Medical in July 2018. He is currently in his third year of GP training with the North Dublin City GP Training Scheme.

 

Dr Boner originally qualified as a pharmacist in 1992. He worked in community and hospital positions often with the most marginalised of society before embarking on a career path that saw him work in Africa, Asia and the Pacific where he worked with both Government and Non-Governmental Organisations, often liaising with various UN agencies such as WHO, UNICEF, UNHCR as well as the IMF and World bank.

He followed his interests in preventative, tropical and public health medicine by completing his medical degree in 2008. He obtained his membership of the royal college of physicians in 2012. He has worked as a lecturer in clinical medicine for the Royal College of Surgeons. He also worked in psychiatry for a year. He has worked with a range of internal medicine specialities; including endocrinology, renal medicine, infectious diseases and neurology. He is currently in his third year with the North Dublin City GP scheme. He is married and lives in Dublin with his wife and family of four.
